Happy New Year!
Our first gaming event of 2015 will be a
return to Good Heavens in Shimo-Kitazawa on Sunday, January 18th
from 10 am until 5 pm. Last year we had two games days there, one miniature
focused with two tables of Bolt Action and the second mostly raucous party
games which was perfect for the big turnout we had. Please remember to buy at
least one drink and/or lunch to help support our hosts. Don’t bring in your own

With such an array of games and gamers I
feel it is important to give this event an appropriate name: Pub Con Tokyo.
Think of it like a mini convention… in a pub. The owner there has been so kind
as to store a table for us to play war games on and to give us a space to store
terrain. Also, in consideration for terrain and miniatures, for the duration of
the event the pub will be non-smoking. If Pub Con continues to be successful
you can look forward to more beer and table-top games on the third Sunday of
every month!

so if you would like to play a skirmish game please contact Brian at

明けましておめでとうございます。今年もよろしくお願いします。
さて、２０１５年の初イベントを紹介したいと思います。１月１８日、日曜日、１０時から１７時まで下北沢の英国パブGood Heavensで第三回のイベントを行います。去年二回イベントを行って、第一回はミニチュアウォーゲームを中心に第二次世界大戦の小戦闘ゲーム「ボルトアクション」、そして第二回は賑やかなパーティ系ボードゲームを楽しみました。去年と同じように入場料は無料ですが、場所を提供してくださっているGood Heavensのために、飲み物もしくはランチを購入してください。外部からの飲食物は持ち込み禁止です。パブのウェブリンクはこちらです、http://tabelog.com/tokyo/A1318/A131802/13159366/
このイベントはウォーゲームだけでなく、色々なゲームを遊ぶ方達が来て下さるので、このイベントには「パブコン」という新しい名前を付けることにしました。「パブコン」はなんの省略かというと、英国パブの｢パブ｣とコンベンションの「コン」です。米国にある一番大きいテーブルトップコンベンション「ジェンコン」に倣って名付けました。
Good Heavensのオーナーは私たちのためにウォーゲーム用のテーブルとゲーム用背景を納める箱をキープしてくださいます。そして、イベントが終わるまでパブは禁煙になっております。もしこのイベントが成功を続ければ、「パブコン」は毎月第三日曜日に開催されます。楽しみにしていてください！
